The Foundation Fighting Blindness, in collaboration with the Nixon Visions Foundation, has announced the recipients of the first awards in the PRPH2 and Associated Retinal Diseases (PARD) Program. These grants mark a significant milestone in advancing research into retinal diseases caused by mutations in the PRPH2 gene.
The San Diego Foundation held its annual Community Scholarship Celebration for hundreds of students receiving scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year. Five students were honored for receiving college scholarships sponsored by the Nixon Visions Foundation.
People with blinding retinal diseases caused by PRPH2 gene mutations gathered in La Jolla CA to learn what is known about their condition and about the latest advances in research to understand and develop treatments and preventions.
Nixon Visions fielded a team to walk and raise funds for the Foundation Fighting Blindness on April 8. Our team enjoyed a fun event and celebration on a sunny morning in New York’s Central Park.
